Our Abilities Awareness Education Programs incorporate age-related, hands-on learning materials plus a visit from one of our therapy teams or service dogs in training.

Pre-school through 5th Grade

Education Dog Toby with one of the CHAMP Learning BoxesC.H.A.M.P., Inc. offers "Learning Boxes" of age-related, hands-on, interactive learning materials that may be incorporated into an educator's existing lesson plans. The Learning Boxes, a child's wheelchair, and a set of crutches are delivered to the classroom prior to our presentation.

Children who have the opportunity to play and learn prior to our talk:

  • Are more knowledgeable
  • Ask questions
  • Gain understanding of various disabilities
  • Learn to respect people of all abilities
